Question Question?

Hey Guys, I Would Like To Upload Some CD's That I Have In Exchange For Ones I Have Downloaded From This Great Site & Forum. Before I Do That Though, I Need To Find Out Which Is The Best Program To Rip CD's Into FLAC. Can Anyone Guide Me In The Right Direction Please? It Would Be Much Appreciated! I Don't Want To Be A Leecher! I Will Contribute To This Forum If I Could Figure Out What Program To Use!

download EAC -> http://download.pcwelt.de/area_relea...c-1.0beta3.exe

before you start ripping configure it using this guide:

How to setup EAC to rip perfect FLAC music files

what CD's do you have?

Thanks! Much Appreciated! I Do Have "Roxio Creator 2010 Plus" And Found I Could Rip FLAC. But, The Program You Posted Looks Like It Would Be Much Better For FLAC RIPS! I Just Installed EAC So, I Will Get It Set Up Now! Thanks Again Man!

To Answer Your Question... I Own And Collect Mostly 90's Rap.(Mostly West Coast Rap) I Have Too Many To List! A Majority Of My Collection Is Already Posted On The Website (Not The Forum) However, I Do Have Some That Are NOT On There. I Plan To Post What I Have That Is Not Already On The Website & This Forum.

I'm Finding Out It Takes A Long Time To Upload These Albums. I Must Give Lots Of Props To Everyone That Has Taken The Time To Upload All These CD's. I Appreciate It Alot! I Hate Leechers (And There Are Alot Of Them!) So, I Will Try My Best To Do My Part In Contributing!

First off, great non leecher mentality!

I rip my albums with Foobar2000. It's a media player, that can also rip cd's. (with FLAC installed)

Tutorial ------------------------> How To Rip an Audio CD to FLAC with Foobar2000
Download Foobar2000 ---> Download foobar2000 and optional components
Download FLAC ------------> FLAC - download

But daz his "How To" link will explain a lot if you want to do it with EAC!

Good luck!

Another good program is dBpoweramp. In my opinion it's just as good as EAC but rips much faster.

A lot of people like to have the log sheet and all that good stuff. I used to keep em with all my rips but honestly when I download something I don't even look at the logs, I just listen to the album and if it plays fine then that's all I need.

So, I Downloaded And Installed EAC. I Followed All The Instructions On The Guide You Provided But, There Was One Page I Wasn't Able To Do Like It Said...

How Do I Change It To flac? It Doesn't Give Me The Option To Select It. Does Anyone Know What I'm Talking About?
